Only two weeks left of filming for Tribe 5! Episode 250 has now been filmed and last Thursday a celebration was held in it’s honour including a scrapbook of emails, letters and pictures from fans around the world sent in especially for the 250th episode was presented to Raymond Thompson.
The scenes
116 scenes were filmed from Monday to Friday last week, and this totalled over 137 minutes of shooting time.
The parallel unit were on four out of five days and quite a few different locations were used this week.
Ebony is confusing love and hate in a few scenes this week and a love letter is found but who’s it for?

Monday filming took place at the Old Porirua Hospital and the Studio
Tuesday they filmed at James Smith’s rooftop.
Wednesday they were at the studios.
Thursday filming was at the studio and at the National Film Unit.
Friday was filming at the studios.

The earliest crew call this week was 6.45am.
The earliest pick up for our cast was 5.55am for Matt Robinson (Slade).
The weather
What a great week for weather! Beautiful blue skies and barely a cloud in sight. The cast and crew spent time between scenes working on their tans!
