Did you know that the Tribeworld site is about 150mb? Downloading the site at 3kb/sec would take 50,000 seconds, that’s 833 minutes, which is 13 hours!!
How many Gegabytes is used to run Tribeworld? Well if we added up all the computers used to help upload information to Tribeworld it adds up to 148.8 GB. That is a lot of computer power!!
Damon in the Hexagon
The Hexagon also uses a Fast Broadband High Speed Modem which downloads media 30-40 times faster than a 56k modem. For example if you were to download a 20mb movie on a 56k modem it would take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. On our Fast Broadband high speed modem this would take less than 5 minutes.
Pre Production
In Pre-Production of the Tribe 52 scripts are written for the 52 episodes in a series. Within these 52 scripts there are about 5 or 6 drafts per script. If each script is around 90 pages this is about 23,400 pages!! If you were in detention at school to write 23,400 pages of lines this would probably take you about 39 hours of non stop writing to complete (if you were fast!).
Each of these scripts would have about 9540 words, that’s about 106 words per page. How many words would that be for the whole 52 scripts? 496,080 words per 52 episode series. That’s a lot of talking!!!
