Tribe Day at Te Papa!
Calling all Tribe fans who are able to get to the national museum of New Zealand, Te Papa, in Wellington on Sunday 28th January – don’t forget Sunday is Tribe day!
Members of the Tribe cast are going to be performing songs live at Te Papa throughout the day and making personal appearances where they are looking forward to meeting and mingling with Tribe fans!
Everybody is encouraged to turn up at Te Papa dressed up in Tribe gear – so let your imaginations flow and your inhibitions go! Go for it and dress Tribal – there may even be a prize or two for the best dressed Tribe fans!
The special Tribe Day at Te Papa runs from 10am to 4pm – we hope to see you there!
And that’s not it – the Fanzine is now up!!!
Yes – if you click http://www.tribeworld.com//fanzineonline/monthjanuary/scrapbook.html then you will see the new Fanzine is now online and live!
Since it is a new year we have changed the Fanzine (for the better we hope!) and there are some new sections with some new stuff like:
Scrapbook – this section looks at things like scripts, props, sketches, designs – an online scrapbook of important items from the Tribe!
Guess who – this section has a guessing competition where you must guess which Tribe character is hidden behind a scrambled face…
The Fanzine also has a new look with some different icons.
Instead of a monthly fanzine, the fanzine will now be online bi-monthly – so the current issue is for January/February 2001 and the next issue will be March/April 2001. Hope you enjoy it!
NATPE
Last week members of the Cloud 9 team flew to the USA to attend the NATPE television festival, which represents the North American television marketplace.
The festival was a lot of fun and a success for Cloud 9.
Douse the home fire at the Dowse
What does that mean? It means the exhibition of Tribe memorabilia and art at the Dowse Museum in Lower Hutt, Wellington, (called the Home Fire) is ending very soon so if you want to go along – you’d better go quickly! The exhibition is over by the end of February!
