What do you do in the world of the tribe
when its that time of the year – the Valentines vibe?
there’s no shops for a start or easy places to go
to get a gift to show you love a partner so
well you may remember from my last report
that the feeling of love bas Tribemaster caught
Tribemaster’s emotions are all in a mess
Since he fell in love with his “Tribemistress”
So what to do on this Valentines Day?
To give or not, what words should Tribemaster say?
How do you express how deeply you feel?
In the world of the Tribe – you start with a deal…
In Tribeworld it may seem a little bit funny
But you must trade and barter since there is no money
You could always try to grab some gifts in a raid
But Tribemaster finds it more peaceful to trade…
So there Tribemaster was – in a romantic mood
All I had to trade was some old canned food…
And I met a trader, of food, he couldn’t get enough
He’d give me some gifts in exchange for tinned stuff…
I liked a nice jewel but thought the trader quite mean
When he wanted all my tinned food, leaving me not even a baked bean
But the jewellery looked great and would suit Tribemistress so well
So I looked the trader in the eye and said “ok, deal – that is swell!”
Tribemaster left the present as a secret surprise
And thought it would bring a glimmer to Tribemistress’s eyes
Tribemaster knew his efforts had been all worthwhile
When he saw Tribemistress bloom into a smile…
“It’s cliche and commercial” – some people may say
But there is a message in each Valentines Day
It means that someone, for you, really does care
That is the meaning of love, a pair needs to share…
Tribemaster is happy, and there’s one truth with love
It is that you can never – ever – give enough…
