LATEST REPORT FROM TRIBMASTER
How could Tribemaster be so stupid?! Well not quite so stupid…
Rain led us through the banana processing building. There were people in production lines sorting bunches into green, yellow and rejects. We got a few queer looks but that was about all.
Rain said that behind the plant through the dense plantations was an abandoned village. It was purposely hidden and the only easy way to get to it is to cut right through the building and out the back door.
We emerged into a very dense tropical forest and after a few feet of crashing through the foliage there was a track. It went up steeply to the right and after another 10 minutes we saw what Rain had been talking about. The buildings didn’t exactly look abandoned though. It was quite a Tribal looking village. Thatched huts with banana leaves covering the roofs but very well maintained and even a cute little garden out the front in bloom with all sorts of flowers.
After the way we’d been living this place certainly looked welcoming and already Tribemaster was ready to call it “home”.
Amber came out to meet us. But Tribemaster didn’t see any other Mallrats.
It has been a long time since Tribemaster has met with any of the Mallrats. Tribemaster usually keeps to himself but that has been impossible for the past few months. It felt strange to catch up with Amber and to remember old times.
Amber said they had had a very rough time of it since leaving the city and now the group had been split up.
Well that explained why Tribemaster had noticed so many Mallrats were missing…
